Chief Flight Instructor’s Award

The Chief Flight Instructor’s Award is a national award presented annually to outstanding flight training educators. The recipient is always a flight instructor who has displayed superior professionalism, skill, and dedication.

The award recognizes those who contribute in a positive way to Aviation Solutions’ Flight Instructor Refresher Program, their schools, students, colleagues, the aviation community, and industry at large. The successful recipient receives a complementary Flight Instructor Refresher Course for their next renewal and is selected by the course presenters.

Recipients are those individuals who have displayed:

  • Excellent effort in all aspects of the course;

  • Significant involvement during the course;

  • Outstanding contribution to group exercises;

  • A strong desire to learn and improve;

  • Superior presentation skills;

  • A high level of technical knowledge;

  • Dedication to best practices;

  • A strong focus on student success, motivation, and engagement; and

  • A professional demeanour which reflects positively on flight instructors.

The winner is selected each January from the previous year’s courses. Aviation Solutions is proud to recognize and promote quality flight instruction and professional flight instructors through this award.

Aviation Solutions is proud to be a carbon neutral company through the purchase of offset credits with C-Level.

C-Level offsets the carbon used throughout our entire operation through various nature-based community projects in developing countries. One example of these long-term projects is the support of Nicaraguan farmers in their re-forestation efforts.

Aviation Solutions has planted over 300 trees to date.

Aviation Solutions is proud to support Stanley Stick Youth Hockey through season-long team sponsorship.

The goal of Stanley Stick is to create a lifelong love of sports within an inclusive hockey community where everyone feels welcome. The organization supports a positive hockey culture that helps families balance a lifestyle outside of the rink, while proudly developing quality people on and off the ice through a spirit of respect and co-operation. The structured co-ed league is focused on skill development, team play, and most of all FUN. The 100% volunteer run league in Guelph has been providing a positive and nurturing environment for children and youth aged 4 to 17 for over 45 years.

This award is presented annually to recognize an Air Cadet who though diligence, hard work, and determination, has excelled in aeronautical studies – all values which Aviation Solutions strives to incorporate and promote daily. Dreams Take Flight

Aviation Solutions is proud to support Dreams Take Flight through sponsorship of their annual Swing for Dreams golf tournament at the Carlisle Golf Club.

Dreams Take Flight is a national volunteer charitable organization dedicated to providing the trip of a lifetime to medically, mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally challenged children. Children specially selected from various hospitals and organizations enjoy a fun-filled day at Disney’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando with their peers.
